Privacy Policy — Live Preflight

This policy describes how the software Live Preflight (Japanese name 常駐する入稿チェックパネル) handles your information.
The short version
Your artwork never leaves your computer. The only thing sent over the network is your license key, and only when you register a Gumroad license key.
What stays on your computer
To run its checks, the software reads the contents of the open document (colors, images, text, layers, and so on) inside Illustrator. It does not send your artwork, file names, or document contents anywhere, and does not write them to any record.
The software saves the same small record in two places. If one of them cannot be read, the license registration is restored from the other.

The record contains only: the number of days you used the check during the trial and the date you last used it, the license key you registered and where you bought it (Gumroad or BOOTH), and a value used to verify the key. To delete the record, delete the file above and reset Illustrator's preferences. This also removes your license registration, so you will need to enter your key again.
What is sent over the network
Only when you register a license key bought on Gumroad, the key and the product ID are sent to Gumroad to confirm the key is valid. Nothing else is sent. BOOTH license keys are verified on your computer, and nothing is sent.

What is not collected
The software does not include usage analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or third-party SDKs. It does not collect your name, email address, IP address, computer identifiers, or information about the documents you open.
Information at purchase
Purchases are handled by Gumroad or BOOTH, which keep the information needed for payment and receipts (such as your email address). The developer can see the order records shown to sellers (such as your email address and the product you bought).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new date.
